While rockets are still being fired from pop-up Hamas terrorists throughout major cities in Gaza, but a lot of the leadership have been eliminated in targeted strikes including the financial and military backers and supporters Iran.
Yahya Siwar the former leader of Hamas in Gaza was captured running on CCTV weeks before being eliminated by Special IDF soldiers which has been set up by special Israeli army tunnel units, which has been conducting operations taking on Hamas terrorists using and hiding in the tunnels underneath Gaza's major cities and usually having the entrances and exits in and around hospitals, schools and mosques.
Having 1,200 Jews and Israelis from different backgrounds including Muslims and Arabs in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, was never going to go unpunished and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in no mood to negotiate with terrorists who are never going to stop until they destroy the Israeli State.
While lots of Israelis are holding daily and weekly protests in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv against the Israeli Prime Minister and the Israeli Government to agree to a ceasefire with Hamas in return for the remaining Israeli hostages being held in Gaza.

But Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken in press briefings and interviews that the hostages that have been returned was because of the pressure of the military operation in Gaza, and appeasing a ceasefire will not make Israel safe and return the remaining hostages.
The Israeli War Cabinet is now mainly made up of right-wing Israeli politicians and Netanyahu is not going to make any more mistakes and will never allow any of Israel's enemies the chance again to attack and kill Jews and Israeli citizens within the Israeli State.
The Israeli Prime Minister has authorised attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon and retaliatory strikes on Iran for the second missile attack causing some limited damage across Israeli cities including Tel Aviv.
Somehow Hamas have been able to issue defiant statements not wanting to have a peaceful resolution with Israel, which puts any ceasefire and freeing hostages on the back burner and equal agreement to fight until the last man standing mentality.
