Ali Harbi Ali has been convicted and sentenced to a whole life tariff for murdering Conservative MP Sir David Amess in a terrorist attack.

Ali Harbi Ali is a Somali citizen who came to the United Kingdom with his parents after his father who was an advisor to the Prime Minister of Somalia was threatened by al-Shabaab terrorists during the Somali Civil War, and for their safety they moved and lived in Sir David Amess MP constituency of Southend.

The motivation for Ali Harbi Ali of targeting and murdering Sir David Amess MP was because he like so many other British politicians at the time of authorising military action against the Syrian government and later on Islamic State (IS), that overwhelmed the Iraqi Armed Forces and took advantage of the Syrian Civil War and took over and occupied central and North Iraq in the west and in the east a quarter of Syrian land, with Raqqa being the Islamic State's capital city.

Like so many predominantly either young vulnerable Muslims or an ever-increasing army of Islamic converts launching terrorist attacks across the British Isles, Europe, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, which are all part of the English-speaking democratic world, because of their collective stance of defeating Jihadists, dictators and communists globally.

Ali Harbi Ali had also had his fair share of being radicalised over the internet of Islamic State propaganda spewing out anti-Western content, which is having a detrimental effect on Muslims living in the democratic Western world.

When Ali Harbi Ali entered Sir David Amess' constituency surgery in Leigh-on-Sea in Essex on 15 October 2021, with the sole purpose of stabbing the British politician in his warped belief in his terrorist attack more than 20-times for voting in favour of authorising airstrikes against the brutal Syrian Assad regime and later Islamic State in Syria.

Being caught off guard by not only Sir Daivd Amess but his surgery staff who tried in vain in protecting the severely wounded politician.

By the time the police and ambulance crew got to Sir David Amess' surgery at Belfairs Methodist Church Hall in Leigh-on-Sea, to tend to the British politician and other members of his staff that had got injured it was too late for him.

This shocked the nation as five-years earlier another British politician Jo Cox was murdered by white supremist Thomas Mair in her constituency in Birstall, West Yorkshire.

The immediate response was why a well-loved and humble British politician was murdered in such a brutal fashion.

This is putting great pressure on British politicians in getting to grips with the immigration system and stopping personas non grata from entering the UK in the first place.

During the sentencing of Somali terrorist Ali Harbi Ali, Judge Sweeney in the case said he committed an act that “struck at the heart of our democracy” then sentenced him to a whole life-term, which is not very common in the United Kingdom, but is only reserved for the most serious offenders, which means he will never be released but die in prison and then his body will either be buried or his cremated ashes be scattered within the prison grounds for eternity.

Since the murder of Sir David Amess his dream of Southend-on-Sea on becoming a city and something he campaigned for a longtime was granted and HRH Prince Charles gave them the honour.

A tree was planted, and this event was attended by fellow politicians of both sides of the chamber in Southend.

Even having a Southend-on-Sea electric train named after the fallen British politician Sir David Amess.

Sir David Amess had a Shield of Arms in the Chamber at the House of Commons bearing the motto, “His Light Remains”.

Sir David Amess' wife was thrilled by his statue, and she said movingly that she could “reach out” and “touch him” as she paid tribute to her late and fallen in the service of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Since Sir David Amess murder the Metropolitan Police Counter-Terrorist Unit and Political and Diplomatic Protection Units have issued safety and security concerns to British politicians and advised on measures to prevent further attacks and murders.

Sir David Amess leaves behind his wife and 5-children (1952 - 2021 aged 69 years-old).
